Get & Deploy Cisco AnyConnect is a straightforward process if you observe the steps below

Requirements
Before you commence, verify the following requirements:
- platform support: Windows 10/11, Mac OS, or Linux
- Administrator permissions on the device
- network connectivity for the retrieval

Download procedure
1 Open a internet browser such as Google Chrome, FF, or Microsoft Edge
2 Go to the Cisco vendor site or your company portal
3 Locate the AnyConnect Secure Mobility package for your operating system
4 Click the get link and save the installer

Verify the download
Once the download, check the installer:

Install on Windows
1 Right-click the installer and choose Open with admin rights

Install on macOS

Install on Linux
1 Extract the package github com/ivclient/Ivanti-Secure-Access-Client/releases github com/ivclient/Ivanti-Secure-Access-Client/releases if compressed
2 Run the installation script with elevated rights, for example:
sudo /vpn_install sh
3 Follow the terminal prompts to complete the install

Connect to a VPN
1 Launch the AnyConnect application
2 Enter the VPN server address
3 Provide your login details and any 2FA verification
4 Click Establish connection and confirm the VPN state

- Check network access
- Power cycle the software
- Remove and reinstall the software
